Ansley’s Rainbows of Hope assists families who are having to travel for their critically ill or injured child to receive care with travel-related expenses, such as food, gas and lodging.
The families served by Ansley’s Rainbows of Hope are hurting, and to be able to help them financially, love on them, pray with them, and share our hope, means the world.
Capernum (A division of Young Life)
Young Life Capernaum gives young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities the chance to experience fun and adventure, to develop fulfilling friendships and to challenge their limits while building self-esteem through club, camp and other exciting activities.
Chatham Transitional Ministries
CTM ministers to men and women, practically and spiritually, as they are released from the Chatham County Detention Center in Savannah, Georgia. Thousands of men and women are released each year with no access to work, accommodation, or funds to care for themselves. They lack the knowledge and ability to change their situation.
Chatham Transitional Ministries exists to assist those individuals who desire to live productive, reformed lives to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ, learn healthy life skills, find employment, locate housing, become involved in a local church, and grow in Christian faith and ethics.
The Children’s School at St. John’s Church
The Children’s School at St. John’s Church (CSSJ)—located in historic, downtown Savannah, Georgia—is a preschool and “mother’s morning out” program serving ages 15 months through Pre-kindergarten. We are committed to providing a Christian learning environment for young children. The primary goal of the preschool is to develop children who are confident, motivated, creative, and eager to learn. We believe that each child should develop spiritually, intellectually, physically, and emotionally in order to be a well-rounded individual.
Heads Up Guidance Services (H.U.G.S.)
H.U.G.S. provides professional mental & behavioral health counseling and addiction recovery services to individuals and families who could not otherwise afford the high cost of services. HUGS will address all levels of support, including emotional, educational, environmental, moral and spiritual facets of the therapeutic process.
Hope Academy is in the business of helping people find their hope and pursue their purpose. The Academy focuses on the educational needs of downtown Savannah adults to expand their worldview and to help them achieve the purpose for their life.
The mission of the Kairos Prison Ministry is to share the transforming love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ to impact the hearts and lives of incarcerated men, women and youth, as well as their families, to become loving and productive citizens of their communities.
People of Action Caring for Kids (P.A.C.K.)
P.A.C.K. is committed to helping meet the basic needs of children in our community. We believe that God intended for us to teach our children to serve and give. By packing and distributing bags of food, clothes, and basic necessities, we are able to show God’s love to those who need it most. We are also able to provide a consistent, child-volunteer experience to allow groups, families, and individuals to serve our community together.
Thrive provides life affirming alternatives to women in our community who are the most vulnerable to poverty, predators and exploitation.
Urban Hope is a ministry devoted to children. A ministry grounded in Christian love, it attempts to change the lives of children and youth, bringing them a sense of hope and a sense of future through spiritual and educational development and life management skills at our after-school and summer programs. All Urban Hope programs are provided free to the participants.
The Whitefield Center seeks the welfare of the city by equipping and empowering people in the Thomas Square Area.
Xcel fuels young men with purpose and passion to reach the fullness of their potential through a network of wise, seasoned and trained mentors.
For over 50 years, Young Life has continued to have a lasting impact in the lives of high school students in Savannah. Young Life thinks the world of kids. We believe that they deserve to know what life can hold for them. Young Life leaders are caring adults who come sharing that hope as well as fun and lasting friendships with kids. Young Life is also all about fun. From club and camp to campaigners and other activities, teenagers will have blast laughing, trying new things and being with their friends.
